Betsy A. Akey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Betsy A. Akey of Monmouth, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Roy and Amelia Josephine Bacon (Skrube); and her siblings, Bonnie Cannon and Jay Bacon. She is survived by: her husband Armond Akey; her children, Lanette Schuster (Tim) of Jim Falls, WI and Dean Akey (Eileen) of Louisburg, KS; her sister Colleen Hickman of Plover, WI; and her grandchildren, Aaron Grieger, Brooke Grieger, Clay Akey, Emma Akey and Penelope Marks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Faith United Presbyterian Church (200 S 8th St, Monmouth, IL 61462). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Faith United Presbyterian Church and sent to the funeral home.
