He was predeceased by: his mother Marie; and his sister Betty Anne. He is survived by: his brother David (Karen); his children, Robin (John) of Huntington and Nathan (Jennifer) of Delmar; his grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, John, Isabelle and Gregory; and his great grandchildren, Peter, Charlie and Oliver.
Charles enjoyed helping youth members of the Church to make donations to RAMP of his quarters in a specially equipped Collection Tube maintained by his Church, taking the time to explain what the donations would be used for.
