We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2022, at the age of 77, Charles A. Raes of Monmouth, Illinois, born in Geneseo, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles A. Raes to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar O. Raes and Margaret Van Holderbeck Raes; his sons, David Raes (Shawna), Tony Raes of London Mills and Nicholas Raes of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.; and his brothers, Eugene Raes (Judy) and A. J. Raes (Julie). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

A memorial fund is being established for the J. W. Clendenin Post 2301 and the Marion B. Fletcher Post 136 honor guard.
