It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Constance Scanlon-Patterson of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Patterson and Pauline Patterson (Young); and her children, Mischa P. Patterson and Jerry Bernard Lucas Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Pierrie T. Patterson of Galesburg, Tyler T. Patterson of Rantoul, IL, Djuana K. Lucas of Peoria, IL, Shala J. Lucas of Springfield, MO, Lonnie D. Brown of Galesburg and Kendra P. Patterson of Galesburg; her great grandchild Dontavius D. Purnell; and her siblings, Harry Patterson (Molly) of Atlanta, GA, Sharon Patterson of Monmouth and Carole Randolph of Monmouth. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McGuire and Davies Funeral Home (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be given to the Connie Scanlon Patterson Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
