He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R Sharp and Margaret Sharp (Lucas). He is survived by: his son Joel Carlston (Christina) of Casper, WY; his foster son Ronald Stegans of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Nicole Stuve (Adam) of Clarinda, IA, Garrett Carlston (Caitlyn) of Douds, IA and Wyatt Carlston (Ayden) of Ottumwa, IA; and his friends, Mike and Dana Nielsen of Monmouth. He is also survived by 7 "great-grandchildren".
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warriors and sent to the funeral home.
