Dennis M. Rhoades Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis M. Rhoades of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Rhoades and Mary M. Rhoades (Peterson); and his sister Leanne Carson. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Rhoades of Monmouth, IL; his children, Brian J. Rhoades (Lisa) and Jodi K. Johnson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Corbin Shepherd (Kelsey), Tucker Shepherd (Kathryn), Jacob Rhoades (Kaya Kelly), Ben Riggen (Alyssa Phoenix), Cara Riggen, Ryan Johnson (Allison) and Natalie Johnson (Ethan Ferguson); his great grandchildren, Sawyer Shepherd, Cooper Shepherd, Sylvie Grace Shepherd, Sawyer Phoenix-Elliott and Poppy Johnson; and his caregivers, Josh Bridgman and Char Winnett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many dear lifelong friends.
