He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Wunnenberg and Norma Wunnenberg (Woods); and his niece Ginger. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hatter of Monmouth; his son Chris Wunnenberg (Megan) of Sandwich, Illinois; his sister Betty Jo Dakin of Roseville; his nephews, Jason Overstreet (Jackie) of Highland Park and Justin Overstreet (Heather) of Roseville; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Brady (Macyn), Madison, Blake and Boston; his great-aunt Betty Overstreet-Dakin; and his brother-in-law Lisle Dakin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left in the care of the funeral home.
