It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn L. Shaver of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Allen and Mary Eola Armstrong (Pedigo); her former husband James Hale; and her son Richard Hale. She is survived by: her husband Francis Shaver of Monmouth, IL; her son Rodney Hale (Diana) of Canal Winchester, OH; and her grandchildren, Karisa Roupe (Michael) of Ohio, Andria Dudley (Sterling) of Ohio, Victoria Garcia (Oscar) of Ohio, Joshua Hale of Ohio, Josia Hale of Ohio, Jacob Hale of Alexis, IL, Ryan Hale (Briana) of Peoria, IL and Lauren Wallerstedt (Joe) of Surprise, AZ. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
