He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Polly" Martin and Irene N. Martin (Bennett); and his siblings, Richard Martin, Connie Miller and Judy Louck.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Martin; his sons, Scott Martin of Monmouth and Jonathan Paul Martin (Melinda) of Bettendorf, IA; and his siblings, David Martin of Monmouth, Nancy Wooddell of Monmouth, Theresa Martin of Monmouth, Mary Martin Hull of Bedford, TX and Paula Howe (Joey) of Monmouth. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (200 W Broadway, Monmouth, IL 61462). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given St. Jude Children's Hospital and sent to the funeral home.
