It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Daniel Johnson of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Johnson and Clytie Johnson (Logsdon); his sons, Jackie Johnson and Sean Johnson; and his siblings, Harlan, Martha, Bonnie, Phyllis, JoAnn, Brad and Donald "Doc".

He is survived by: his wife Vicki Johnson of Monmouth; his daughters, Barbara Bell (Randy) of Monmouth and Rebecca Sage (Mark) of Rantoul, IL; his grandchildren, Amber Garcia (Steve), Elizabeth Lee (Brian), Michael Johnson (Kelsey Bull) and Maggie Bell (Carter Neal); and his brother Tony Johnson (Barb) of Monmouth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Western Illinois Animal Rescue (WIAR) and sent to the funeral home.
