He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Lemon and Clio Lemon (McIntire); his grandchildren, John and Hallie Kinser; and his brother Gene Lemon.
He is survived by: his wife Hallie Lemon of Monmouth, IL; his children, John P. Lemon (Denise) of St. Charles, IL. and Kate L. Kinser (Reagan) of Dayton, TN; his grandsons, Matthew Lemon, Lucas Lemon, Andrew Kinser and Sam Kinser; and his nieces, Catherine and Jennie.
A burial was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Candor Cemetery (452 160th St, Aledo, IL 61231). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Faith United Presbyterian Church (200 S 8th St, Monmouth, IL 61462).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the College of Business at Monmouth College or Faith United Presbyterian Church and sent to the funeral home.
