It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith L. (Eccher) Taylor of Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvin and Sara Elizabeth Eccher (Gash); her sisters, Joy Eccher and Jane Barry; her daughters-in-law, Sharon Bridgewater and Mandy Ricco; her son Chris Ricco; and her grandchildren, Michael and Kimberly.
She is survived by: her children, Don Jr. (Julie Bridgewater), Robbie (Linda Swift), Rick Bridgewater, Angela, Eric (Teanne Bridgewater), John (Lucinda Ricco) and Tony Ricco; and her siblings, Jim and Jody. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGuire and Davies Funeral Home (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Simulation Sports (400 S Main St, Monmouth, IL 61462).
Memorials can be made to the Judy Taylor Memorial Fund to support many of Judy's favorite local charities and can be sent to the funeral home.
