Mabel Boone Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 6, 2021, at the age of 95, Mabel Boone (Monmouth, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Gittings and Cecil Gittings; her husband Donald Franklin Boone; her daughters, Thrina Gaskill of Monmouth and Donna Hagy of Galesburg; her grandsons, Tyler Gaskill and Ryan Bennett; and her sisters, Carol Sharp, Bonnie Scott, Estelyn Johnson and Nedra Mason.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, Thresa Coursey (John) of Kentucky, Vanessa Joan Bennett of Monmouth and Steven Boone of Wataga; and her brothers, Bob Gittings, Perry Gittings and Edward Gittings. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
