She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Francis Smith (McIlravy); her siblings, Everett, Shirley and Joyce; and her sons, Brad and Rusty Barton.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Gaskill; her daughter Kim Spence (Steve); her grandchildren, Brandi Spence (Nate Conard) and Patrick Spence; and her great grandchild Alaina Spence of Monmouth, IL..
Memorials can be given to the Marigold Rehab Memory Care Unit or WIAR (Western Illinois Animal Rescue) and sent to the funeral home.
