She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee Edward and Evelyn Ford Bailey; and her husband Paul W. Burton. She is survived by: her children, Cleota Warden of Morton, Gwendolyn Thompson (David), Shabeda Pennington (Rodney), George Warden of Monmouth, Leonard Warden of Hawaii, Leslie Warden (Krista) and Wylie Miller; her stepdaughters, Patricia Warden of Peoria and Janice Warden of Decatur; and her siblings, Charlie Bailey and Faith Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is being established by her family for her church, Calvary Baptist Church of Monmouth.
