He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Sr. Porter and Avis B. Porter (Daily); his wife Sheryl J. Hewitt; his son Todd Porter; his son-in-law John Payne; and his sister-in-law Betty Porter.
He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Payne of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandchildren, Peyton Porter (Aubrey) of LaHarpe, IL, Jackson Porter (Maddie) of Carthage, IL, Hayden Hopper of LaHarpe, John Payne (Jayne) of Nashville, TN and Carolyn Johnson (Lonnie) of Monmouth; his great grandchildren, Beckham, Cade, Cameron, Kirstin, Brooke, Caitlyn, Austin and Camden; his great great grandchildren, Maximo and Knox; and his brother Edward Porter Jr. of Monmouth.
Memorials can be given to the Porter Children Education Fund and sent to the funeral home.
