We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2022, at the age of 73, Richard L McKay of Monmouth, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar McKay and Betty McKay (Carlson). He is survived by: his children, Christian McKay-Tinder (Paola) of Wilmington, NC and Danielle Ross of Monmouth, IL; his grandson Jacob McKay-Tinder; and his brothers, Donald McKay of Monmouth and Gary McKay (Virginia) of Utah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to either the Monmouth American Legion or VFW and sent to the funeral home.
