He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Mejia and Agustina Mejia (Mendez); his spouse Geraldeen "Geri" Mejia; his siblings, Angelina, Louis and Robert; his sister-in-law Rose Mary; his brother Ramiro; his siblings-in-law, Lillian and Dick Cunningham; and his niece Sarah Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Sally (Jaime), Scott, Tammara and Linda; his siblings, Dan (Rose), Sam (Lydia), Joe and Mary Cunningham; his grandchildren, Jaime Jr. (Joanna), Christopher, Phillip and Amanda; and his great grandchildren, Trinity, Elaina, Carmelo and Emiliano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
