Clara S. Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara S. Thompson of Montgomery, Illinois, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Sigle and Maria Sigle; her siblings, Adolph and Frieda (David); and her children-in-law, Karen and Mitch.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Olson, Jonathan Thompson (Jacqueline Christian), Edwin Thompson (Ted), William Thompson (Laura Grandau) and Wesley Thompson (Meryl Zwanger); her grandchildren, Krista Chamberlain (Brad), Kara El-Kareh (Tanous), David, Georgia, Shaina, Sylvie, Jasper Thompson, Julie Thompson Grandau, Tray and TJ Olson; and her great grandchildren, Lucas and Addison Chamberlain.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
