He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Plocher; his daughter Shari; his brother Don; and his grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Plocher and Kimberley Warling (Alfter).

He is survived by: his friend Jim; his son Ron Plocher (Kelly); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Steinbrecher (Erik) and Joe Plocher (Katie). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
