He is survived by: his wife Sally Johnson; his children, Scott Dillard of Yorkville, Illinois, Laurie Dillard of Aurora and Jennifer Dillard of Montgomery, Illinois; his grandchildren, Simone Dillard Coleman, Russell Dillard Coleman of Aurora and Ashley Dillard of Montgomery, Illinois.; and his siblings, Garrie Dillard of Montgomery, Illinois, Sheila Knighton of Oswego, Illinois and Roy Dillard of Branson, Missouri..
