It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas G. Reyes (Montgomery, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Guadalupe Reyes, Aurelio and Esperanza Aviles (Cruz); his uncles, Galindo and Michael Reyes; and his cousins, John Jr. and Megan Reyes.

He is survived by : his parents, Gary Reyes and Julie Reyes (Aviles); his siblings, Martin (Jo Anna) of Plainfield, IL, Rick and Raquel (Cesar); his niece Alexia Muniz (Alex); his nephews, Joseph and Jeremiah Ortiz; his great-nephew Abel; his great-niece Julianna Muniz; and his grandmother Gumesinda Benavidez (Reyes).

Even in his passing, he chose to give the gift of life through organ donation to a special few, caring about others to the very end.
