It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Beckett-Melo (Montgomery, Illinois), who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Max Beckett Sr.; her brother Rafael Beckett; and her cousin Silvia Rivera (Martin Ayala). She is survived by: her mother Hermelinda Beckett; her children, Sandra Beltran (José), Rafael Valenzuela Jr. and Héctor Beckett; her grandchildren, Alexis, José, Max and Juleo; and her siblings, Delia Rios (José), Victoria Peterson, Maggie Beckett and Max Beckett Jr. (Martha). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
