He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Duncan and Margaret Duncan (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Melinda Duncan of Monticello; his children, Ian Duncan of Austin, TX, Caitlin Hicks of Monticello and Justin Duncan of Chicago; his grandchildren, Vivian Davis and Teddy Hicks; and his sister Peggy Ingraham of Tucson, AZ..

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Monticello Athletic Boosters.

“All our family was saddened to hear of the passing of Bob and extend to his family our sincerest sympathy. Personally, he taught me, in my only two times at our joint family gatherings with he and Melinda, to be aware of my options for a heart-healthy diet and life. I am saddened by his passing as he was a loving and caring father who reflected a quirky sense of humor combined with a warm and very loving nature. Again, our condolences.
