With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cindy A. Houdeshell of Monticello, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell and Evalena (Jividen); her husband Robert Lynn Houdeshell; and her sister Sherry Preumer. She is survived by: her children, Jared Trigg (Lindsay) of Danville and Lauren Meyer (Eric) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Marina, Owen, Collin, Nolan and Ellory; and her brother Robert Hawbaker (Kathy) of Sullivan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home (215 E Washington St, Monticello, IL 61856). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
