He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Stanley and Ruth Evelyn Nixon (Smoot); and his brother Tom Nixon. He is survived by: his spouse Bev; and his children, Julie, Ron, Rob, Amy, Nate and Mary.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monticello Christian Church (1699 N State St, Monticello, IL 61856). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Homeless Veteran's Program or the Wounded Warrior Project.
