Edward W. Fisher Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 5, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Edward W. Fisher of Monticello, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Fisher and Fern Fisher (Reedy); and his sister Charylene Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Fisher of Monticello; and his children, Kim Johnson (Greg) of Monticello and Alan Fisher (Bernice) of Decatur. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Monticello Christian Academy Playground Equipment or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
