It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gaila Ross of Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Grubb and Mildred Grubb (Lane); her husband Fred Ross; and her parents-in-law, Virgil and Mary Ross (Larmore) of Tuscola.
She is survived by: her children, Katrina Chester (Deon) of Tuscola, Susanna Williams (Michael) of Carmel, IN and Jeremy Ross (Sarah) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Olivia, Donovan Chester, Lillian, Alexis Williams (Tyler Eberth), Mary Grace, William and Rachel Ross; her brother Tom Grubb (Pam) of Wesley Chapel, FL; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Pruett (David) of Tuscola.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tuscola United Methodist Church (901 N Prairie St, Tuscola, IL 61953).
