He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kenneth and Mildred Hunter (Primmer); his wife Sharon Darsham; his siblings, Walt Hunter, Donald Hunter and Wilma Willis; and his stepgrandson Brandon.
He is survived by: his children, Denita Hoffman of Monticello, Dan Hunter (Liz) of Atlanta, IL and Donna Pittman (Leonard) of Monticello; his stepsons, Dan Darsham (Lisa) of Monticello and Darrel Darsham of Monticello; his grandchildren, Travis Pittman (Sarah), Jessica Romersberger (Daniel) and Emily Hunter; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Aughney (Wes), Allison Bundy (Matt) and Nathan Darsham; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Wyatt, Jenna and Sam; and his siblings, Kenneth Hunter, Frank Hunter of Monticello, Wanda Plotner of Deland, Juanita Philpot of Rockford and Irene Baker of Savoy.
