Jane Wiggins Obituary

We announce the death of Jane Wiggins of Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 78. Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sledgister and Imogene Sledgister (Sabin); her spouse Thomas Wiggins; and her grandson Clayton Wiggins. She is survived by: her children, Amy McTaggart (Arthur) of Grand Cayman and Matthew Wiggins (Jennifer) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Austin Wiggins (Allison) and Delaney McTaggart; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Ashton and Aceson Wiggins; her siblings, John Sledgister of Wasilla, AK, Joe Sledgister (Phyllis) of Tiskilwa, IL and Julie Watson of Springfield, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Barb Wiggins and Connie Henry (Greg).

Memorial donations may be made in Jane's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Cisco Fire Protection District.
