Joyce Ann Canaday Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on June 27, 2025, at the age of 86, Joyce Ann Canaday of Monticello, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Lester and Vera Mae Place (Bahlow). She is survived by: her daughters, Jill DelValley (Layne) of Monticello and Beth Myler (Dave) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Rev. Jessica Baldyga (Eric), Joshua Lauer (Karianna), Chad Myler (Anna), Jordan Lauer (Kayla), Kyle Myler (Megan) and Joy Palazzolo (Michael); and her brother John Place (Kay) of Homer. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cunningham Children's Home.
