It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence T. Rollin of Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Thomas and Kathryn Rollin (Reynolds); his daughter Kim Cafin; and his brothers, Wayne and Robert Rollin.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rollin of Monticello; and his children, Brian Rollin of Cisco and Kelly Reynolds of Palm Beach, FL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
