With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Catharine Allman of Monticello, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mary Catharine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Catharine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Joseph F. Allman, Jr. and Mary Bridget Allman; and her brother James P. Allman. She is survived by: her sisters, Bridget A. Dederick of Bethesda, MD and Margaret R. Fifield of Manvel, TX; and her nieces and nephews, Melea H. Allman of Monticello, Katharine R. Foos of Springfield, VA, Thomas A. Dederick of New York, NY, Joseph M. Dederick and Sean C. Fifield of Burbank, CA.
