Melanie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Melanie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Melanie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd "Bud" Remmers and Joan Remmers (Hilgendorf). She is survived by: her husband Ed; her sisters, Wendy Jent (Doug) of Bourbon and Julie Wolfe of Monticello; and her daughters, Jamie Adcock (John) of Hammond and Brandi Burns (Jordan) of Bement. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Monticello Township Cemetery (601 W Railroad St, Monticello, IL 61856).
