She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Matteson and Rosa Simerl Matteson; and her spouse Dannie Tharp. She is survived by: her daughters, Gale Brandner of Savoy and Glenna Tharp of Savoy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mahomet United Methodist Church in care of her daughters.
