He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Andrew and Zelma Pullen (Hanks); his siblings, Bill, Winnah and Louise; and his great grandchild Andrew.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Hancock; his children, Brad and Teresa Benefiel (Brad); his grandchildren, Blake, Lindsey (Bert), Jolie (Dan), Bryson (Lauren) and Carly; and his great grandchildren, Jazilyn, Isaiah, Huxton and Jack.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grove Community Center (5251 E 1800th Ave, Montrose, IL 62445).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude.
