In the vast expanse of eternity, Douglas John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Douglas John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, John E. Streubel and Mary Kay Streubel (Durston) of Jerseyville; his daughter Ashley Streubel; and his siblings, Carl Streubel (Kelly) and Kathy Moody (Dave). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meadowbrook First Southern Baptist Church (105 Fairway Dr, Moro, IL 62067). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church (105 Fairway Dr, Moro, IL 62067).
Memorials may be made to the Carl Streubel Family for his fight against colon cancer.
