He was predeceased by : his wife Velma Bailey; his siblings, Jack Azinger, Lyn Harry, Edna Riddle and Patty Walley; and his grandson John David Lowry.

He is survived by : his daughter Janice; his son-in-law Steve Lowry; his grandchildren, Jason Lowry (Ellyn), Daniel Lowry, Jacob Lowry (Tara), Jordan Lowry and Justin Lowry; and his great grandchildren, Thomas and Jack Lowry.
