He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Egeland and Ardelle Egeland (Johnson); his wife Debra Ziegenfuss; and his brothers, Kevin, Craig and Brent.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Egeland (Jennifer) of Long Grove and Jason Egeland (Shannon) of Minooka, Illinois; his grandchildren, Eliana, Anabelle, Bryce, Brie and Ryan; his sister Kay Matteson (Craig) of Morris; and his sisters-in-law, Kathie Egeland of Crystal Lake, Paula Kunzmann (David) of East Moline and Tina Sistek of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made as gifts in Bruce's memory to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 202 W. Jefferson Street, Morris, IL 60450.
