Though Byron may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Byron touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Thorson and Bernice Thorson (Benson); his brother Gary Thorson; his parents-in-law, Carl and Doris Burkett; and his brother-in-law David Burkett.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn; and his brother Roger Thorson (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Byron's name to Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
