With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane L. Heren of Morris, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Heren and Bertha Heren (Hild); his parents-in-law, C. W. and Flossie Garrison; and his brothers, Everett Heren and Robert Heren (Patricia).

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Garrison); his children, Christie Adkins (Ken), Candi Holstine (Dave) and Scott Heren (Lisa); his grandchildren, Megan Adkins, Eric Adkins (Kelsey), Kelli Holstine, Adam Holstine (Mary), Zac Heren (Claire Nelson) and Chad Heren; his brother Bill Heren (Sonia); and his caregivers, Katie, Tiffany, Trisha, Sarah, Kristy and Heather.
