She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doyle and Louise Doyle (Jacklich); her husband Dennis Watson, Sr.; and her friend Annette Schock. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Watson, Jr. (Laura) of Coal City, David Watson of Abbotsford and Dan Watson (Augie) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Nicholas Watson (Stephanie) of Algonquin, Jason Watson of Vienna, Tiffany Oakes (Kyle) of Goose Lake, Holly Phillips (Cole) of Wonewoc, Craig Watson (McKenzie Schroeder) of Osseo and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Doyle, Ryland, Brynn, Kinley Watson, Emma, Brooke, Brian Phillips, Irene and Helen Oakes; her sisters, Mary Ann Ruether (late Preston) of St. Joseph and Kathleen Ritz (Wade) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Berta (late James) of Dwight, Ronald Watson (Rita) of New Buffalo and Lana Pogliano (late John, Jr.) of Walnut, Illinois. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Betty's memory to the Coal City Food Pantry or to Assumption Catholic Church Building Fund.
