Elmo R. Younger Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmo R. Younger of Morris, Illinois, born in Grambling, Louisiana, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Younger and Mary Younger (Lewis); and his daughter Densie. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Carter (Randy) of Virginia and Raymadier (Michele) of Coal City; his grandchildren, Aisha (Liem), Mike Goad, Joslyn Younger, Laquita Younger and Omar Walker; and his sister Jerlene Callahan of Los Angeles. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Elmo's name to the American Legion Post 294, VFW Post 6049 or Disabled Veterans of Illinois.
