She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Rygs and Fern Rygs (Cash); her husband Melvin; and her sister Madge Burrell. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Valerio (late Robert) of Morris and Kim Shannon (Don) of Morris; and her grandchildren, Derek Valerio (Jane), Kristin Ehrman (Paul), Wes Shannon (Kate Carey), Chad Shannon (Amy) and Amanda Valerio. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Lightways Hospice.
