He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Allen and Vera Allen; his former wife Corinne Allen; his brother Larry Allen; his brothers-in-law, Roger Hagenberg and George Atkins; his nephew Jonathon Olson; his niece Heidi Atkins; his great grandchild Winnie Green; and his former wife Corinne Ann Olson of Lisbon.

He is survived by: his wife Vivian Sandeno Berge of Newark; his sister Sharon Herman (Lou) of Rockford, IL; his children, Jeff Allen (Julie) of Atlanta, GA, Kristin Friestad (Scott) of Morris, IL, Scott Allen (Christine) of Atlanta, GA and Doug Allen (Ruthie) of Elizabethtown, PA; his grandchildren, Elisabeth Allen Adams (Brandon), Sara Allen Santoro (Sean), Morganne Friestad Green (Jase), Mackensie Friestad, Peter Allen, Hanna Allen Sluder (Preston), Mitchell Friestad (Jaida), Madison Friestad Larson (Ben), Marissa Friestad Scott (Kyle), Theodore Allen (Karla), Soren Allen (Lauren), Ari Allen and Oliver Allen; his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Magnolia Adams, Stetson Santoro, Isaiah, Theo, Scotty, Olsen Green, Lily Sluder, Beau, Mason Larson, Timothy, Matthew Allen and Forest Allen; and his stepchild Michele McArthur (Chris).
