James R. Burroughs Obituary
James R. Burroughs, born on March 18, 1943, passed away on October 21, 2026. James leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burroughs and Mildred Burroughs (Kerst); and his brother Tim. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Burroughs; his children, Stephen Burroughs (Christina) of Phoenix, Arizona and Tiffany Beeler (Sean) of Minooka, Illinois; his grandchildren, Adeline, Lillian, Gabriel and Amara; and his brother John Burroughs (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Uc Davis-Callahan Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's in Jim's memory.
