He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Rutherford and Violet Rutherford Sr.; his granddaughter Skylar Hope; and his siblings, Marilyn Hoffman (Donald), Isabelle Brown (John), Jean Reardon (Francis), Joanne Fegerle (Raymond) and Alvin D. Rutherford.
He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, Kimberly Schwab (Paul), James Rutherford and Patrick Rutherford (Sarah); his daughter-in-law April Rutherford; his grandchildren, Megan Sallis (Kyle), Kylee Rutherford, Aiden, Hunter and Lydia; his great grandchildren, Mason and Kenzie; and his sisters, Mary Lou Rutherford and Shirley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.
