John G. Cairns Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John G. Cairns Sr. of Morris, Illinois, born in Wilmington, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Cairns (Barr); and his aunts, Isabel Rayburn and Rose Cairns. He is survived by: his father John Joseph; his wife Terrie Cairns; his children, John Cairns, Jr. of Minooka and Gina Wolf (Bill) of Channahon, Illinois; and his grandchildren, John Lucas "Luke" Cairns, Will Wolf, Rose Wolf, Mason Wolf and Clara Wolf. He is also survived by numerous cousins and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baskerville Funeral Home (700 E Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
