John Farber Obituary
We announce the death of John Farber (Morris, Illinois), who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 79. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Farber and Erma Farber (Vitzthum); his parents-in-law, John and Florence Nagra; his siblings, Theodore Farber, Rev. Jim Farber, Mary Jo Salyers and Jerry Farber; his brother-in-law Dick Ely; and his niece Jennifer Herron.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Farber (Nagra); his sons, John "Louie" Farber (Kelli) and Sam Farber (Amy); his sister Verla Ely; his siblings-in-law, Linda Nagra Herron, Kris Farber, Bonnie Farber, Tim Nagra (Gail) and Danny Salyers; and his grandchildren, Ruby, Hank, Remi and Sami. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made as gifts in Jack's name to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, of Joliet or the donor's choice.
