She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Leach and Amanda Leach (Sorem). She is survived by: her husband Robert; and her children, Gary Elam (Mary) of Missouri, Terry Elam (Leslie) of Iowa and Judy Shelton of Morris. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two special sisters in-law; as well as several nieces and nephews.
